Iran, America & the Nuclear Option

“The rise of the west was not made possible by the superiority of ideas or values or religion but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence.”
(Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies)

“We shouldn’t be spending a dime on humanitarian aid (in Gaza). It should be like Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Get it over quick.”
(Tim Walberg, a Republican Congressman from Michigan)

“If Canada someday ever attacked Buffalo, I’m sorry my friends, there would be no Canada the next day.”
(Kathy Hochul, a Democrat governor of New York)

“Open the F**kin Straight, you crazy bastards, or you will be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!”
(Donald Trump, a German-Scottish bastard)

The threshold for nuclear option of America (the severity above which it will employ nuclear weapons) is so low that, if someday Mexico does to USA a tiny fraction of what Ukraine has been doing to Russia every day for more than two years, it will surely be incinerated by a nuclear inferno and there will be no Mexico the next day.  The same applies even for the supposed closest ally of the United States (Canada), and Ms. Hochul in the above quote was not bragging but merely expressing what she knows as the governor of the most important state bordering Canada, New York.

No wonder Donald Trump, the German-Scottish bastard, is openly threatening to take “white supremacist America back to its greatness”  by taking “bastard” Iran back to the stone age.

The only reason why the US didn’t use nuclear weapons in Vietnam was its fear of equivalent retaliation by the USSR and China, why it didn’t nuke Iraq was only because nuked Iraq would be off limits for expropriation by US-based oil giants like Halliburton of Dick Cheney, and why it didn’t opt for the nuclear option in Afghanistan was merely because using nuclear weapons on such a mountainous, scarcely populated country would be very inefficient, if not prohibitively expensive.  Even then, America dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb (dubbed the “the mother of all bombs” with a blast radius of about 2 kilometers) on Tora Bora caves to kill less than 100 Afghanistan fighters.

In short, the low threshold for the nuclear option of the US means the US can conventionally attack or invade any country under any pretext, but if that country resists and if its resistance is even nominally stiff, the US will nuke it out of existence, unless, of course, that country has its own nuclear weapons and delivery systems for retaliation.

The US made the first atomic bomb through basically what amounted to slave labor of world scientists concentrated in a maximum-security camp called Los Alamos under a crash project dubbed the Manhattan project.  Ever since, the US has readily used (or threatened to use) atomic/nuclear weapons whenever and wherever it deems its military objectives cannot be met with minimal American casualties, or whenever it wants to send a “strong message” to would be challengers of its hegemony.

President Truman’s alibi for bombing the hell out of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was “to bring the war to a speed end and save American lives.”  The same Truman threatened to use nuclear weapons in Korea, only because Korean resistance to American forces appeared to be bit stiffer than he expected. President Eisenhower who, as the supreme commander of the allied forces in Europe during the second world war allegedly strongly opposed the use nuclear weapons on Germans, was quick to pull the nuclear card the moment things seemed to get a bit out of America’s control during the Taiwan Strait Crisis of the 1950s.  During the Cuban Missile Crisis (October 1962), President Kennedy almost initiated a nuclear Armageddon solely because America’s missile deployment in Turkey (right on the border of Soviet Union) was countered by Soviet missile deployment in Cuba, more than 90 miles away from the US border.

A sure proof way for American presidents or presidential hopefuls to boost their approval ratings is threatening to nuke the heck out of any actual or potential challenger of the US imperialistic hegemony.

Most white Americans oppose the Iran war not because they hate what Trump is doing to the “bastard” Iranians, but only because of they fear what the “bastard” Iranians may do to Trump’s white soldiers in return.  As such, if Trump can “finish the job quickly”, they will be fully behind him.  Trump may be astoundingly idiotic, but no one can deny his astounding political acumen in that he knows his idiotic base like the back of his little hand.

Trump could drop a nuke and I’d still vote Republican” (Megyn Kelly, a MAGA maniac Trump worshipper)

The “home of the brave” chooses to fight only if the “braves” are far away from the enemy sight and can kill in thousands (if not in tens of thousands) by merely pressing a button, ever apprehensive of what happens whenever and wherever the “braves” put their boots on the ground, be it in Japan, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan or Somalia.

Unlike China built by the Chinese and Russia built by the Russians, America was built by the world.  The world built America by investing its enormous human and resource capital, directly by force in the case of slavery and indirectly by force in the case of immigration and capital inflow.

The immigration (brain drain) and capital inflow to America especially from the so-called global south is solely for lack of any other choice and, therefore, is essentially coerced.  In order to divide and conquer and then plunder, the American empire (and its western allies), following in the footsteps its predecessor the British empire, made the region so destitute, chaotic and corrupt that it has long become virtually unlivable.  As such, able and capable people of the region are left with no choice, save immigrate to the west where they live as second-class citizens while contributing much more than the “first-class” ones – the “braves”.

This very America which was made powerful by the world has now become too powerful for the world, ever ready to wipe the entire world with nuclear Armageddon if it doesn’t get its way. It has doggedly refused to live and let others live. It is adamant that it should be the American way or there should be no other way. It insists and persists that the only game in the entire world should be a zero-sum game whereby America (rather the American oligarch) amasses billions and trillions at the expense of all others, especially the so-called global south.

Indeed, America is now the Frankenstein of the world, and the world, for its own sake, should better treat it as such.

The average age of all previous empires is about 250 years.  The year 2026 which was heralded by America’s unprovoked, imperialist invasion of Venezuela marks the 250th year of the Declaration of Independence.  It was this very Declaration of Independence which stated that “whenever any form of government becomes destructive, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new government”.  The time “to alter or to abolish” the de facto white supremacist American “destructive” system and“to institute” a new constructive system is long overdue.

“If one day China should change her color and turn into a superpower, if she too should play the tyrant in the world, and everywhere subject others to her bullying, aggression and exploitation, the people of the world should identify her as social-imperialism, expose it, oppose it and work together with the Chinese people to overthrow it.”  (Den Xiaoping, Speech at the United Nations, April 10, 1974).
